… brings over 30 years of business management and executive leadership experience to Path Forward, which he founded in 2001.

Jim has been an award-winning salesman, sales manager, general manager, and executive. He has specialized in turning around underperforming operations and helped lead a massive national reorganization for a Fortune 150 company.

Jim’s experience in general management has resulted in broad and deep knowledge of nearly all aspects of a well-run business. From building and managing a sales organization to managing complex inventories and delivery systems, to generating vision and trust in demoralized organizations, to leading complex restructuring efforts, Jim has earned a depth of knowledge and insight that serves his Path Forward clients exceedingly well, regardless of the leadership challenges they face.

… is a nationally acclaimed, Harvard-educated leadership trainer and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) specializing in integral development.  In 15 years of coaching, Steve has built a broad and eclectic resume in coaching and leadership development domains, including:

  • training and coaching leaders at Boeing and Microsoft in leadership qualities and skills
  • as a partner in Path Forward Leadership Development Services, developing leaders in some of the largest companies in the Puget Sound region
  • as a certified trainer, keynoter and coach for the Center for Ethical Leadership, introducing a values/integrity-based leadership approach in business, education, nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations across the country.

Steve is a former teacher and long-time performing musician.  His interactive workshops, for groups from 6 to 1500, have been called “life-changing.”

SShannon Bruce - Path Forward Facilitatorhannon Bruce, PCC is a Professional Certified Coach and current President and CEO of StoryBridge, Inc. of Kitsap County. She has been in the professional coaching industry for over 12 years working in many capacities as an Executive and Leadership Coach, Team Coach, Facilitator, and Trainer.

Her diverse background also includes 13 years as a CPA with Ernst & Young, Corporate & Regional Operations Management in the wholesale distribution field, and entrepreneurship launching multiple business start-ups. Currently, Shannon is also the Group Leader of Excell Puget Sound in Kitsap which is a peer group of CEOs & Executives committed to best practices and building sustainability in their lives, teams and companies. She is certified in Conversational IntelligenceTM.


Chris Grivas is a Seattle-based organizational development consultant who focuses primarily on organizational and leadership development to increase the creative capacity of individuals, teams, and organizations. A published researcher in creativity and innovation, his current projects include co-authoring the book, “The Innovative Team: Unleashing Creative Potential for Breakthrough Results” with Dr. Gerard Puccio of the International Center for Studies in Creativity, SUNY Buffalo. This book explores how teams can produce breakthrough results despite members’ varied creative styles.

He has designed and delivered courses in the creative process for corporate, academic, and non-profit settings, as well as facilitated strategic vision and strategic planning sessions, new product development, process improvement, team building and executive coaching for numerous organizations nationwide.

He has lectured at the University of Washington, Northwestern University, served as adjunct professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business and presented at numerous industry conferences.
